Dhol vadan : PARV-2

Exactly 1 year back I started my insta account with the post of my first ever experience of dhol vadan in 2018.

I still remember the immense joy of playing it for the first time after so many years of waiting to make it happen someday.

Was totally unsure if I will be able to continue this year also. But then there was some sense of missing silver lining to it ..”Punyat Dhol jar laxmi Road war nahi wajawal tar kay wajawal !!”

So this year agin all NO thoughts turned to YES !!

and again started those hectic schedules..too much travel,getting early to office, leaving on time to reach practice , try best to learn and re-learn, get exhausted, reach late @home.. and again same routine back everyday for over month!

I know I am definitely not the only one doing this but surely for all , despite of resisting thoughts of giving up the desperation of playing keeps driving and motivating.

And the most awaited Ganpati days arrived..excitement of first time performing on Laxmi Road ..manache Ganapati ..the crowd ..the joy ..the energy..was beyond words!! Felt like performing in Big League 😀

And excitement continued till Visarjan…and what to say about that day..full kalla and rada..everyone was performing their best..the crowd , the cheers..the applause…was overwhelming!

All the hard work, efforts seems to be paid off just for that one day performance!!

So Ganpati Bappa – “tumachya sathi kay pan !!!!! “

Hope to continue the journey of Dhol vadan for years to come , and keep learning to be best at it as much possible!!
